Line Throw Contest

 

Winners were:

#2 - Darrell Koontz – Ingram Barge Company

#3 - Jason Kovolcik – Western Kentucky Navigation

 

The traveling trophy will be updated with the name of the first place winner; Sandy McDaniel @ National Maintenance donated a medallion for each place finish.

 

Carl Blanchard / IMI Delta, managed the event, and to him, great THX for the effort.

 

“There were 15 contestants and only about two deckhands; some were pilots and some had never held a line until Saturday.

 

Membership Pennant/Flag Display

 

This display is now longer than previous years and had to be strung between the top of the lock wall entrance at Kentucky Avenue across to a light pole – must see if a better way for display is possible.

 

ORSANCO Aquarium

 

 The aquarium was solely supported by affiliated companies in water treatment with no river industry support.
